Responsibilities
- Assist as the technical and business expert in implementation of new business processes and systems. Serves as liaison between technical and functional responsibilities, translating business process needs into implementation requirements.
- Collaborate with IT to create design documents and technical specs for implementation.
- Serve as team lead in the design, development, troubleshooting, and/or testing of configurations, settings, upgrades, and improvements to assigned financial systems. Responsible for ensuring the support of cost-effective business processes.
- Provide user support on escalated issues for assigned financial systems, resolving complex problems with business and/or technical solutions.
- Write, interpret and/or repair code (SQL, Oracle, Teradata, Excel VBA, and Access Databases) to automate processes and resolve system errors.
- Use ETL (SSIS) to develop jobs for extracting, cleaning, transforming and loading data into data warehouse.
- Develop complex business reports by combining various databases including SQL, Oracle, and Teradata.
- Analyze, inspect, clean, transform, and model data with the goal of highlighting useful information, detecting issues, identifying trends, drawing conclusions and supporting decision making.
- Calculate and generate forecasts, trend reporting and metrics and develop automation for the same.
- Design and delivers on-line training, workshops, and documentation to users.
- Responsible for the anticipation and prevention of major problems with system data and process integrity. Handles escalated issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years’ experience with SQL (Oracle or Microsoft) and similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills for interpreting or repairing SQL and VBA code.
