Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures monthly close control activities within area of responsibility are maintained, such as intercompany checks, month-end close meetings, and documentation of close activities.
- Oversees standard calculations each month, including earnings per share.
- Routinely reviews and approves work of team members, ensuring all close related responsibilities, calculations and reporting are completed timely, accurately, and controlled with appropriate support documentation.
- Supports preparation of financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and statement of changes in equity and provides level-up review of financial statements.
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise within areas of responsibility including statement of cash-flow.
- Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting is completed for all areas of responsibility with appropriate support, documentation and controls maintained.
- Partners with Investor Relations to prepare quarterly earnings releases.
- This includes supporting preparation of quarterly financial supplement and tie out of earnings materials.
Required:
- Minimum 6+ years Accounting or Finance or related. 8+ years Banking, Financial or Regulatory Reporting, supervisory, or related experience is preferred
- Knowledge of financial reporting including statement of cash-flows.
