- Covers staff who are responsible for the strategic development of marketing plans, initiatives, promotions, and communications targeted at individual prospect/cardholder segments.
- Staff in this function are involved in: defining individual/segment market requirements and opportunities; determining list management/data mining strategies and developing and providing ongoing support to marketing campaigns (e.g., direct mail, targeting, offer management, etc.).
- Level: Incumbents are beginning to assume some important business development or product management responsibilities.
