Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate Client requirements against the scope of the project, identifying and addressing any product gaps for the implementation
- Support the various testing phases, which include API integration, End to End testing, and User Acceptance
- Directly support the Client’s developers with the integration to the API specification. Support and answer questions regarding specifications and how to develop code per the specification
- Provide technical support to our Clients during all testing phases
- Triage and troubleshoot client API issues
- Assist with encrypting and decrypting API content
- Perform direct gateway testing via submission of API requests via Postman
- Assist with monitoring data management or utilities in the simulation environment
- Validate Production moves, including certifications and keys for credential security
- Review new API Specification, test, and internalize for Client Support
- Execute on regression testing with the Client
- Address and resolve testing defects both internally and with Client, working closely with internal support teams.
- Responsible for managing Client expectations, ensuring satisfaction through responsiveness and effective communication.
- Responsible for detecting potential issues, supporting the Clients and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the project timeline, business operations, or the overall relationship.
- Responsible for documenting process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), implementation and training guides, and all other required internal/external materials for ongoing business needs.
- This includes creating, utilizing, and enhancing documents/deliverables necessary for providing exceptional support services.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years related experience
- Experience in the Financial Services or Payments industry (preferred) working in a developer integrations/technical analyst role.
- Prior Client implementation experience required
- Excellent verbal and written skills; demonstrated ability to create and deliver presentations that are both internal and Client facing
- Experience in working with and integrating APIs (JSON) with external Clients required
- Prior programming/development experience required
- Prior experience with Postman required
- Experience in defect tracking tools (i.e. Quality Center, JIRA) required
- Prior functional testing experience required
- Knowledge of “developer portals/sandbox environments” required
- Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience required
- Strong organizational, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and consultative skills
