Job Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly and experienced Software UAT Lead. The Software UAT Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of the Workforce Management project in US IT.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive UAT plans, identifying and documenting defects, and providing timely feedback to the development team.
- They will also work closely with stakeholders to ensure that software applications meet or exceed user expectations. This position reports to Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities:- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, business analysts, and end-users to ensure software is tested thoroughly.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of software.
- Review and analyze business requirements and translate them into test cases and test scenarios.
- Responsible for testing cases accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage the test environment and ensure that it is set up and configured correctly for testing.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain project schedules for testing and ensure that testing is completed on time.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
- Identify, track and report on defects and work with the development team to ensure that they are resolved.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and strategies.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on User Acceptance Testing.
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Product team member in an agile software development environment.
- Strong technical background with experience in software development and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test management tools like Jira, HP Quality Center, or Microsoft Test Manager.
- Ability to develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing scripts.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly, solid ability to translate technical verbiage into easily understandable language.
