Job Description:
- Work as a member of highly effective Enterprise Application Support that supports over 450 banking applications/processes
- Manage and Maintain Enterprise application SDLC
- Review application logs and Enterprise application monitoring to pre-actively prevent application failures
- Create documentation to be included in knowledge base of issues and resolutions
- Works with 3rd party vendors and internal IT departments as appropriate to research and resolve problems
- Work with internal business teams to establish application requirements and implementation expectations
- Participate in critical major incident resolution and treat such events a top priority
- Consistently demonstrate open collaboration with your teammates
- Perform software upgrades and other Technology Lifecycle Management activities
- Develop and maintain scripts for the team for proactive monitoring and automation
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical support experience with Windows and Linux environment
- Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS / Tomcat, Active Directory, PowerShell/Python, Automation Scripting, SAML / SSO, Certificates, Citrix, SCCM
- Experience with File Transfer Protocols (FTP, FTPS, SFTP) required.
- Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, VB scripts, etc. for automating manual processes and validations
- Must have excellent customer service, telephone, listening and communication skills with IT and non-IT personnel
- Experience tracking, researching, and documenting information for root-cause analysis
- Maintain a high level of knowledge for application layer frameworks such as the OSI Model
- Be able to track and document information regarding troubleshooting techniques
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, participate in 24 hour on-call rotation
- Ability to work on Agile projects with scrum and KANBAN
